Both my personal Chromebox and my work laptop are plugged into a CableMatters USB-C switch, and the switch is plugged into the dock. All the peripherals are plugged directly into the dock. This allows me to switch all peripherals between the two computers with the press of a button.
The irony is that streaming SSR is supposed to improve performance by sending content incrementally. But the overhead of the streams machinery can negate those gains, especially for pages with many small components.
